Aloha and Mele Kalikimaka (that’s Hawaiian for Merry Christmas – a tad late, but still –) We’ve just returned from a very fun trip to the Hawaiian island of Kauai. In between the (muddy & fun!) hiking, beaches, and dodging wild roosters, we explored the lovely low-key town of Kapa’a. This was one of our favorite finds, KIKO simple goods*, specializing in unique local art, upcycled goods and clever environmental products. Local Spot: Kiko Kauai by Rebecca on April 5th, 2015 There’s a little shop down a little alley that I pass when I take my little head bands to a. ell atelier. I’m usually rushing by, so I never go in. Correction- I never went in, until a few days ago. Kiko is it’s name and “simple goods” is it’s game, and it’s going to be hard to pass up the next time I’m in the neighborhood.
