Reproduction of the traditional netsuke. These do not have holes drilled for threading a cord through. These would make an interesting addition to your decor. Place them on a shelf, by your favorite bonsai, or next to a miniature collection of shells, rocks, etc.
Netsuke: The carved toggle attached to the top end of the cord on a kimono. It rests securely on the top edge or is tucked just behind the obi (sash), acting as a counterweight and stopper so the pouch or box cannot fall.
