Akiko Snood

Black and white cotton snood.

Traditionally, snoods are headgear designed to hold the hair in a cloth.  They have a looser fit, a much coarser mesh weave, and resemble a close-fitting hood worn over the back of the head. It can also be worn as a shawl, twisted and worn as an accent around your neck, tossed over a chair as a beautiful throw. Akiko Yasuda is a Japanese designer living in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
